  • Manufactured by: Shure

The most accessible wireless Shure vocal microphone for elevating sound quality combined with simple setup and an intuitive interface for performance you can trust.

What is the PG58 best suited to?

The PG58 has been tuned specifically for vocal applications and is mainly used by amateur/semi-pro lead and backup vocal artists with some experience in live performance.
What receiver comes with the PG Wireless Vocal System?

The PG Wireless Vocal System comes with the Analogue Wireless Receiver BLX4 that provides improved linearity and frequency response.

The receiver BLX is ready to perform right out of the box and is the clearest choice for performers who wish to unplug. It’s also available as rack mount, metal receiver and Dual Receiver.
How many musicians can use this system simultaneously?

Up to 12 compatible channels per group with group and channel scan for easy set-up.
Why internal antennas?

For ideal signal strength, antennas on a wireless system need to be set up in a certain way. The internal antennas on the BLX receiver are already set in this ideal way, offering up to 100 m operating range and optimal signal strength.

Additionally internal antennas cannot be broken during setup, use or transport.
Is the setup really that easy?

Yes, with one button you can start the group and channel scan, which gives you the best open frequency. Adjust the transmitter to the same channel and you’re ready to go.
What does “Linearity” mean?

The proportion between input signal of the transmitter and output signal of the receiver is always constant.
How does the BLX receiver perform compared to wired?

The frequency response of the wireless microphone is almost identical to the frequency response of a wired mic. Also the dynamic performance is almost the same.
What’s the difference between the old and the new “PG Wireless System”?

With the old PG Wireless System “PG” is the name for the microphones as well as for the receivers. With the new system, the name “PG” stands for the whole line of microphones in differentiation to SM and Beta microphones. The receivers name is “BLX”. This receiver is also part of SM and Beta Wireless Systems.

The new PG Wireless Systems come with the Analogue Wireless Receivers that provide improved linearity and frequency response as well as up to 12 compatible channels per group with group and channel scan for easy set-up.

Entry point to professional Shure quality, ruggedness and sound.
PG58 Vocal Microphone

Tailored frequency response is smooth and extended. Tuned specifically for vocal applications.
Cardioid polar pattern picks up the most sound from in front of the microphone and some sound from the sides. Less susceptible to feedback in high volume settings.
Dynamic cartridge has a simple, rugged coil. Handles extreme volume levels without distortion.
Cartridge includes a neodymium magnet for high output level.
Internal shock mount for reduced handling noise.
Durable metal construction.
On/off switch for onstage control.
Hardened steel mesh ball grille that resists wear and abuse.
Integral "pop" filter reduces explosive breath sounds and wind noise.
Includes 15ft. (4.57m) cable, break-resistant mic clip and storage bag.
